ABOUT ME
Dr. Michael Melkers brings 32 years of clinical experience, a love of teaching, and an enduring curiosity about people to his work as a dentist and educator. A 1994 graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry, he maintains a private practice in Hanover, New Hampshire, where patient relationships continue to shape what he practices and teaches.
A Pankey Institute alumnus, Michael serves as Visiting Lead Faculty for Essentials 3 and as Visiting Faculty at Rīga Stradiņš University in Latvia. He holds Fellowship and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, along with fellowships in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American College of Dentists.
Having taught on five continents, Michael enjoys bringing colleagues together to explore the connections between communication, case planning, and occlusion. His programs blend patient stories, practical clinical skills, humor, and honest reflection on lessons learned along the way—including the challenges.
